Never begin an on-demand zone parking session until you are parked in the zone. Zone parking is NOT a reservation; a space will not be saved for you when you arrive if you pay before you are in a space.
Details of your parking session can never be changed after you check out, so it is essential to ensure the license plate and zone information are correct to avoid a potential citation. If you input a zone number and pay prior to arrival, and then discover the spot you paid for is taken, Parkmobile cannot stop or refund your payment.
Note: There are no refunds if you begin zone parking with improper details or if you initiate parking without being parked.
To start a session, you will need the zone number shown on the signs within your parking area. Many zone numbers are visible on the app's parking map, but due to several factors, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of every zone number on the app map. The best practice is to use the zone number displayed on the physical signs of your parking area.
- Tap on the zone on the parking map OR enter the zone number into the search feature in the top left corner of the parking map. You can also search for zones by address, but do not start parking until you are parked!
- Confirm what city/state you are parking in
Select the duration of the session to see a preview of the end time for the session, as well as the fee you will be charged.
- Press "continue" to move to the confirmation page, where you can review the details of your session.
- On the confirmation page, you can choose your preferred license plate and payment method for the session.
After ensuring all session details are correct, proceed with payment by pressing the "Start Session or Buy" button.
- Your session will begin immediately upon checkout. You will see confirmation that the session has started, and you can view the active session at the top of the app's homepage. You will also receive a parking confirmation receipt email.
